According to the UAE labour law what are my benefits if a Company forcefully terminates me?
I am working in a hotel for 11 months, now the hotel says that due to cost control they are reducing some staff and they forcefully gave us termination letter. Can anyone tell me that what are the least benefits I should get according to UAE labour law? Since the company is the one who’s breaking the contract.
With my knowledge and 8 years experience in UAE If an employee has worked for a company he/she will be entitled for gratuity upon resignation or termination HOWEVER to be legible to those benefits, the employee should at least have worked for a one year in the company and termination must not be for misconduct.
Benefits will be in form of Gratuity, and shall be calculated on the basis of last drawn basic salary of an employee.
