How the annual leave salary is calculated according to UAE labour law?
I would like to know how the annual leave salary is calculated according to UAE labour law( is it full salary or basic salary and accommodation allowance only without transport allowance)
How many percentage should be the basic salary from the full salary (I’d there a requirement in labour law)
your visa is from abu Dhabi it will b full salary..and f other so only basic plus accommodation allowance.
I asked this recently to an attorney and they said to pay in both locations with allowances to avoid issues. She said the rules were not clear and as stated earlier in AD it was one way and Dubai another but that it is only one UAE labor law so better to stay consistent.
if we are getting increment before completing one year, then which amount will be considered for leave salary calculation?
As per the law, your basic and HRA OR any other allowances as mentioned as per your offer letter gets into account.
if your salary break is is basic and just rha then both will be included.
Only basic is taken into consideration when we are calculating gratuity/end of services.
whoever over here said just the basic are the ones who are not aware that they are not following the law. And it might be a small company where such practices usually does not gets noticed
