What happens to Employees When The Company is Sold in Dubai
We have a little problem now with our company. The first owner sold the company to other person and because the new owner who takes over the company need some staff so I and my workmate (were just 2) stay at the same company but the new owner. After 3 months the new owner decided to sale again the company. But our concerned now is my workmate finished her contract last June 8, 2017, and she needs her cancellation and her gratuity. And because we were just two, if she left I need to go also since he decided to sale the salon. So both of us need a cancellation and the owner knew about all of this and he tells don’t worry for released paper. Our problem now is our 1-month salary until now he didn’t give and also the gratuity of my workmate. Since the name of the company is still under with the name of our boss before we decided to talk with them. They said they will give our cancellation but about the money, they will give until the company will be sold. Now some of my friends tell that before we sign the cancellation they should give our salary or else we cannot get our money. So, for now, we really need advice what is the best thing to do so we can get our money.
