HOW TO CALCULATE GRATUITY IN UAE IF THE EMPLOYEE TAKES 3 MONTHS LEAVE INSTEAD OF 1?
I have 2 questions to ask
1.If employees affect reputation of company by not dressing well and don’t follow company dress code. What action should company take against employees
2. If an employee has taken 3 months leave instead of 1 month, how to calculate gratuity of that year.
For point 2… Gratuity is not applicable for loss of pay days… Means leave eligibility is one month… Any leave in excess of eligibility is loss of pay days and don’t count as service period…
Dress code or maiantaing official discipline is an internal policy of your company. If someone violates maliciously, you can issue violation letter and get it signed by the employee and if the employee keep on repeating it, you can terminate the services.
Gratuity period is based on continuity of service period.
