I found my dream Job In Dubai but I’m ready employed in ABu Dhabi and i have only worked for 7 months on this contract. What can i do ?
Last year in July I came to UAE/ Dubai on a 3 months Visit visa, I looked for Jobs very where but almost failed. in the last two weeks to my visa expiry, I managed to get a job as a waiter in a hotel In Abu Dhabi, because I didn’t want to go back home In Philipines, I decided to take the Job although I wasn’t happy but I just didn’t want to go back.
Am an accountant by professional with a Degree and Postgraduate Diploma in CIA. Anyway, the real issues is, I managed to find a Job of my profession with a salary *7 OF WHAT AM GETTING NOW but my boss has refused to let me go, he wants me to pay the employment and residency visa expenses first.
Since I already finished 6 months, Is this really applicable?
If I go to labour would they even consider my case?
I wouldn’t advise you to go to labour, you need to consider the time the case may take.
most importantly the question is if your new employer is ready to wait until you done with your troubles with your current boss. I went through the same issues last year but i just came into agreement with my former employer and i managed to reach a mutual agreement where i paid him half of the visa cost.
Trust me most of the private or personal owned businesses will ask for the same especially if you want to leave before even completing a year.
Good luck mate
