I purchased DU sim from telecom service, postpaid sim in last year August but the guy who sell that sim to me he said that you can do video chat on IMO but when I started to use that sim it was not working for video chat on any applications then I complain to them then they said that you have verbal agreement with him so they can’t do anything then I started use that sim and submit the bills regularly for 3 or 4 months after that they add 10 AED for extra in my bill for some kind of package then I again complain them to minus that amount from my bill and I said them if you can’t minus that amount from my bill then I will not pay the bill and after one month I stop use that sim and I didn’t use that sim and now they are sending me messages as a Pre-Legal Notice if you will not submitted that amount around 1500 AED then we will take legal action against you.
My question is that how can I save my self to not pay the bill ?

I just purchased DU postpaid sim that I can video chat with my family
Please advice me what should I do to save my self.

Actually you were cheated by the person sold you this sim card…SIM card and telephone set is given together to the customers under contract between the two parties…you try to find where that person is or you go to DU office and inquire what next can be done…possibly they may lock his phone

I complained about him but I don’t know him but the DU company said you have verbal agreement with him so we can’t do,
I just want know if I will not payment then is there any chance to stop me at airport or the time of cancellation? And one thing more for 1600 AED can they put case on me ?

Any small outstanding amount they might handover the case to authorities .this is what I have noticed too from Etisalat

Go to Du office and get proper details. If it’s true then better to pay because if you go to court it will take time.about airport they might stop you or not it’s difficult to predict. Better clear all dues..mistakes teaches us good lesson
