What are Ramadan working hours for UAE private sector and Government Employees?
Working hours for private sector employees in the UAE are being shortened by two hours for the holy month of Ramadan and government employees will be from 9am to 2pm across the UAE.

I work for a  chocolate company but instead of cutting two hours they adding 1hour. our duty now is 8am to 7pm. and it’s without pay.

Staff who are forced to work extra hours can register a complaint with the ministry,

“The ministry is only one call away,” said Mr Zaouali. “My advice to companies that do not treat this seriously is watch out for complaints.

“Muslims and non-Muslims have equal rights before the labour law and Ramadan hours apply to everyone and are not time that should be recovered.”
